About Vets4Life

Mission Statement

Vets4Life is a Fort Collins based 501c(3) organization working to improve the quality of life for veterans and their families. Vets4Life uses a multifaceted, holistic approach to strengthen the veteran population. Through a variety of health and wellness programs, and community engagement, Vets4Life hopes to reduce the rate of veteran suicide.

Why Vets4Life Was Founded

After his military service,  founder Austin Leffel lost several friends to suicide including two mentors – Robert “Bobby” Orr and Jeremy Sears.

Seeing a problem with the organizations sworn to assist veterans he became proactive towards the issue, forming Vets4Life in 2016.
